iOS 19 Leak Reveals VisionOS-Inspired Sleek Design Features

A new video is stirring excitement by providing a potential glimpse into the redesigned iOS 19 that Apple is expected to announce this June at WWDC25. The forthcoming major upgrade is rumored to draw inspiration from the Vision Pro’s visionOS, incorporating several of its design elements. Earlier this year, noted leaker Jon Prosser showcased a mockup video that highlighted the sleek new design of the iOS 19 Camera app.

Recently, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg indicated that Apple is planning a significant visual overhaul with both iOS 19 and macOS 16. This change could be among the most substantial redesigns in the history of these operating systems, featuring updated icons, menus, applications, windows, and system buttons. Prosser’s latest video reveals what could be the new design for iOS 19, characterized by glossy UI elements reminiscent of visionOS.

He emphasizes that Apple is prioritizing a visual redesign for this version, with no significant functional changes expected. As for new AI capabilities, sources suggest Apple has no plans to introduce these features in the current development cycle, although this may evolve in future updates. The video portrays UI elements featuring a glassy aesthetic with rounded corners, and it appears that all native Apple apps, including the keyboard, will undergo a similar visual refresh.

Some of these updated elements are reportedly visible in the Apple Sports and Apple Invites apps. Despite the intriguing leak from Prosser, Mark Gurman cautions against fully trusting the circulating iOS 19 images. He claims these versions are likely based on outdated builds or vague descriptions, lacking essential features.

Apple will present more concrete details in June during WWDC25, which runs from June 9 to 13. Thus, we are just over two months away from the official introduction of iOS 19.
